The department noted that, according to preliminary data, the 41-year-old head of one of the divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Paninsky district offered the police a bribe of 30 thousand rubles for assisting his friend in admitting and passing the exam for the right to drive a vehicle. 

It is noted that the policeman refused to receive a bribe.

On July 19, the suspect was detained in the course of joint activities of the Investigative Committee, the FSB and the internal security department of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the interrogation, the suspect gave detailed confessions.

As RIA Novosti clarifies, we are talking about the detention of the former deputy head of the traffic police in the Voronezh region Igor Kachkin.

In February 2020, Kachkin spoke about 22 apartments of his family.

He stated that he owns only a dorm room and one apartment, while the rest of the property belongs to his parents.
