This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in the SAR, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit.

"On July 19, from 23.39 to 23.51, four F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force, entering Syrian airspace through the US-controlled Al-Tanf zone, struck eight guided missiles at targets southeast of the city of Aleppo," he cites words of RIA Novosti.

Kulit said that seven missiles were destroyed by the Syrian air defense forces on duty, which include the Russian-made Pantsir-S and Buk-M2 complexes.

He also said that one missile damaged the building of a research center in the village of Sfira, Aleppo province.

Earlier, the media reported that the Syrian air defense forces were repelling an attack from hostile objects in the skies over Aleppo.
