Putin appoints new ambassador to Eritrea

"By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation ... Mozgo Igor Nikolaevich was appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Russia to the state of Eritrea," the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Previously, he served as Deputy Director of the Department for Relations with the Subjects of the Russian Federation, Parliament and Public Associations of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
