Monday, the young man aged 20 who had dark, Thursday evening, on a terrace of the city center of Angers, was tried in immediate appearance in Angers.

, six months in prison.
That evening, he got behind the wheel with 1.50 grams per liter of blood when he was coming out of a drunken evening with the 6th Engineer Regiment, the military group to which he belongs. In front of the judges, he explained that he had tried to park when the accident took place. Witnesses first saw him driving at high speed - at least 80 km / h - around a place and then moving away. He then returned and crashed into a parked vehicle. His car was then thrown towards the terrace of the brewery. Fortunately, planters protected the customers, but tables were nevertheless mown. Six people were injured. The consequences could have been much more dramatic.
The soldier apologized at the bar to the victims who "saw themselves dead", according to Me Isabelle Oger Ombredane, their lawyer, quoted by

The young man was therefore sentenced to six months.
A second hearing will be held on January 21, 2022 at the Angers court to determine the real damage suffered by the victims and compensate them.
