The woman was found by a private person who was swimming near the Ågesta bridge in Ågesta, on the border between Stockholm and Huddinge municipality.
According to the police, the woman was a single mother.
- She was polite, there is nothing in her background that explains that she was murdered, says police assistant Eva Nilsson, who is handling the case.
One person in custody
According to the police, the woman was to meet a man on June 21 and he is now in custody on suspicion of murder.
The man denies the crime.
The police need help from the public
The police went out with pictures of the woman when she was in Farsta beach center on June 21 to get tips from the public and be able to map the case.
- We need to know if anyone has seen the woman or seen her clothes and bag, when she was found without any belongings.
It is about from half past eight on June 21 to 4 pm on June 22, says Eva Nilsson.
