China News Service, Beijing, July 19 (Ma Shuaisha) At 8:19 on July 19, China used the Long March 2C carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center to successfully send 10 sets of remote sensing 30 satellites into the scheduled orbit. .

This launch is also the final battle of the remote sensing 30 series satellites.

Remote Sensing No. 30 satellite adopts multi-satellite networking mode, which is mainly used to carry out electromagnetic environment detection and related technical tests.

According to Xing Jianwei, deputy chief designer of the Long March 2 C carrier rocket of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, since the launch of the first group of remote sensing 30 satellites on September 29, 2017, the Long March 2 C carrier The rocket sent all ten sets of Remote Sensing 30 satellites into the predetermined orbit with high precision, and the launch success rate was 100%, fully demonstrating the high reliability of the "Gold Medal Rocket".

The Long March 2C launch vehicle is a normal temperature liquid launch vehicle developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The total length of the rocket is about 43 meters, the take-off mass is about 242 tons, and the 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit has a maximum carrying capacity of 2 tons.

In this mission, the Long March 2C launch vehicle was equipped with a fairing umbrella control system, and for the first time adopted a high-altitude parachute opening program to further verify the fairing landing zone control technology.

It is reported that the development team is currently continuing to advance the "parachute-based fairing debris landing zone control technology" to provide a reference for the design and improvement of the follow-up rocket system debris landing zone control plan.

This year is the year of the high-density launch of the Long March 2C carrier rocket. It is expected to perform 8 launch missions at 3 inland launch sites, setting a record for the number of annual launches of the model.

In response, the model team shortened the test and launch cycle of the Xichang launch site from 12 days to 9 days, and implemented it in this mission.

The mission also launched the 15-star Apocalypse constellation for IoT data collection.

This is also the 380th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
