Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again pleaded this Monday, July 19 in favor of a definitive partition of Cyprus, during a two-day visit to the northern part of the island, recognized only by Ankara.

The Turkish head of state, who was speaking to the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, therefore continues to be uncompromising, despite warnings from the European Union.

In Cyprus there are two states and two peoples.
