  When answering a reporter’s question, Zhao Lijian said that the interagency joint working group led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs arrived in Islamabad in the early morning of the 16th.

In the past few days, the working group has been working non-stop, working together with the ambassador to Pakistan, promoting the Pakistani side to treat the wounded, thoroughly investigating the incident, increasing the security of the Chinese project personnel, and visiting the wounded together with the Pakistani high-level, condolences the victims and went to the scene Surveys, condolences to camp employees, etc., and on-site guidance of enterprises to strengthen safety precautions, the work has achieved remarkable results.

  Zhao Lijian said that the Pakistani side had done a lot of work in handling the incident in the early stage, properly keeping the remains of the victims, transferring the wounded in time, and providing the best treatment for the wounded.

After the working group arrived, Pakistan provided full assistance to the working group, saying that it would spare no effort to carry out investigations, and at the same time strengthened security measures for all Chinese projects in Pakistan.

  "Regarding the progress of the investigation, the relevant departments of Pakistan are fully investigating the incident and have notified the Chinese side of the preliminary investigation.
