There will be no truce in the fighting in Afghanistan on the occasion of Eid which begins this Tuesday, July 20.

This is the conclusion of the round of discussion which ended in Doha, Qatar on Sunday.

The two sides parted ways without significant progress as fighting rages on the ground in Afghanistan.

The Taliban launched a major offensive across the country a few months ago against government forces seizing many districts.

Fighting which caused many victims among civilians.

The wounded in the center of the country are transported to the Emergency war hospital in Kabul.

A few meters away, in the back of a Corolla, Zabiullah is ready to go home with his father.

He is 13 years old.

His left leg is bandaged.

He was shot and wounded in fighting between the police and the army in Wardak province, southwest of Kabul.

His 9-year-old brother Rafiullah was buried in their village which fell under Taliban control a month ago.
