Seidi Haarla and Juri Borisov (see picture) play the two passengers who meet on board a train.

Much of the story is recognizable from the book Coupe No. 6, a classic written by Rosa Liksom, but according to director Juho Kuosmanen, this is not a film adaptation of the work from 2011.

The major daily newspaper in Finland, Helsingin Sanomat, joked about it in the headline and wrote that the film "made a Kaurismäki" when it won the Grand Prix.

The first Finnish director to receive the Grand Prix in Cannes was Aki Kaurismäki.

The film was called The Man Without Memory, and the year was 2002. Now Juho Kuosmanen and others hope that the new award will give the entire Finnish film a push internationally.

In Finland, the film premieres in cinemas in the autumn, and it is distributed internationally in the USA, for example. In Sweden, the film will be shown after the turn of the year by Folkets Bio.
