The Spanish left side of Paris SG Juan Bernat, who has not played since last September after a serious knee injury, resumed collective training with the Parisian club on Monday, he announced in a message posted on his Instagram account.

"I am very happy to be able to do a little part of the team training after more than ten months," wrote the player, who also posted photos of the session.

Bernat, 28, was indisputable holder before his injury, a rupture of a cruciate ligament of the left knee in Ligue 1 against Metz.

In his absence, none of his rivals have managed to win, Dutchman Mitchel Bakker having recently been ceded to Bayer Leverkusen, while Frenchman Layvin Kurzawa is announced to start.

The Spaniard extended his contract with the vice-champion club of France by four years in March, until 2025.
