Nothing remains of the bus, completely charred.

This Monday, at the end of the morning, a fire broke out in a bus carrying 31 children and four companions while it was driving on a departmental Gard, in the town of Portes, north of Alès.

The occupants of the bus, who came from Vaucluse and were going to Lozère, were able to leave in time and are all safe according to the Gard firefighters who intervened to contain the incident.

On their arrival the bus was destroyed by the flames, which began to spread to the vegetation.

At the start of the afternoon, it was under control and the children and supervisors were taken care of by a spare bus.
