Of the 301 crew members of the Munmu the Great of the Cheonghae Unit dispatched to the waters of Africa, 247 have been confirmed to be infected with Corona. More than 80% of the crew members have been confirmed to be infected, and even the soldiers who tested negative cannot be relieved. Navy's Cheonghae Unit, Munmu the Great, yesterday, 179 soldiers and cumulative confirmed cases were 247, 82.1% of the 301 soldiers confirmed as positive.

Of the remaining 54, 50 were negative and 4 were undetermined.

It is the largest since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the county in February last year.

Considering the reliability and incubation period of the local PCR test, the possibility of additional confirmed cases cannot be excluded.

Two aerial refueling planes, which departed the day before to bring all the soldiers of the Cheonghae Unit to Korea, arrived yesterday.

Fortunately, the berthing of the Munmu the Great and the evacuation of the soldiers to the airport went smoothly, so the transport plane take-off procedure went faster than expected.

Flight No. 1 took off yesterday at 7:25 pm our time, and Flight No. 2 took off about 2 hours later.
