The alarm to the rescue service came at half past nine on Sunday morning.

The forest fire from yesterday had spread to such an extent that the rescue service was called to the scene again.

It was during Saturday afternoon that two fires were discovered in Vrinneviskogen by the firefighters at 5 p.m.

At 7.30 pm, the rescue service announced that one of the forest fires was under control.

Two helicopters from MSB, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, were called in to put out the second fire while a third fire was discovered nearby.

The water bombing had a good effect on the fires and by 9 pm all fires were under control.

Just before 01:00 on Sunday night, the rescue service was able to leave the scene.
