It was in April this year that several employees sounded the alarm about the soldier's behavior.

  • A woman feels that the man is too close during a conversation and has sat very close several times.

Once he put his hands on her lap.

The man has also said that "I will take a shower in the afternoon, then you can also take a shower".

  • Another colleague gives a similar picture of the man being close despite being asked to back down.

At one point, while standing in the food queue, the man stood behind her, grabbed her hair, leaned forward and whispered "shall I cut?".

  • A third woman says that she has been exposed to unwelcome behavior for several years.

For example, the man put his hand on her thigh and pulled at her hair.

She has also experienced derogatory comments in front of other colleagues.

The man is said to have said "now we will see if you can control me".

  • Another woman states that she has on several occasions been exposed to unwanted touch, try to hold her, touch her hair and stand very close during conversations.

The man once showed pictures of women in lingerie and asked if she could imagine being photographed.

The man is said to have said "you can wear smaller clothes".

During the course of the investigation, it has also emerged that the soldier's behavior has been known by colleagues for several years.

The attitude, however, must have been that it did not matter to say no without "just trying to persevere".

Dismissal or disciplinary action

The man himself denies the accusations and denies that he has shown lightly dressed pictures.

However, he admits that some incidents took place, but states that he did not understand that his actions were unwelcome.

In the report, the soldier's boss writes that he has behaved cross-border and that the employer lacks confidence in the man.

They now want the personnel responsibility committee to consider whether the soldier should be fired or receive a disciplinary sanction.

SVT has applied to the Armed Forces, which does not want to comment on the report before the board has made a decision on the matter.
