The implementation of the national sterilization program in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi begins today, from 12 midnight to 5 am.

Traffic and public movement are restricted during this period, including public transportation.

Abu Dhabi Police will activate radar and smart systems during the implementation of the program, which was implemented last year, in addition to issuing fines in absentia for those not committed to staying at home.

It is noteworthy that the Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters, caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, announced earlier the launch of the national sterilization program in the emirate, as part of the ongoing efforts to protect public health and limit the spread of the “Covid-19” virus.

She stressed that the public should stay at home, and only go out to buy the necessary food and medicine needs.
