Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung said, "There may be a problem with political neutrality, so I am being audited for exercising my commanding authority" in relation to the allegation that a government official in Gyeonggi-do was slandering candidate Lee Nak-yeon on social media.

Candidate Lee said at an online press conference, "I actually checked it out, but it is said that members of an organization related to Gyeonggi-do, not directly affiliated with Gyeonggi-do, acted in slander."

"It's not a violation of the election law, but it's against the internal guidelines," he added.
