Today, Sunday, the director of Al-Aqsa Mosque said that Israeli forces stormed the mosque after dawn prayers and fired stun grenades and rubber bullets at the worshipers.

Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani added, in connection with Reuters: "Israeli forces are still besieging dozens of worshipers inside Al-Qibli Mosque, after they closed all the mosque's gates in Al-Janazeer."

Regarding the presence of injuries in the courtyards of the mosque, Al-Kiswani said: "So far, we have not counted the number of injured, and the ambulance has been expelled from the mosque's courtyards."

He continued: "Four groups stormed the mosque, each group forty extremists, under the protection of the Israeli police and special forces, and the number of police is more than the number of worshipers."
