Two million dirhams to support fishermen in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, directed the disbursement of two million dirhams to fishermen affiliated with the Ajman Fishermen's Association, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

His Highness’s honor comes within the framework of encouraging citizens to practice the profession, taking care of fishermen, identifying their needs, conditions and issues, overcoming the obstacles they face, and harnessing all possibilities to facilitate their affairs and provide a decent life for them and their families.

The head of the office of His Highness the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen Association, Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid Al-Ghamlasi, confirmed that the award includes the fishermen of the Emirate of Ajman who are citizens licensed to practice fishing activities and members of the Fishermen Association in the emirate.

He said that the association's management took measures to support fishermen, discuss issues that hinder their work, discuss how to solve them, and facilitate procedures for licensing the practice of the fishing profession to preserve this inherited profession.
