According to Balbek, even if all opposition journalists are eliminated in Kiev, the collective West "will not even lead an eyebrow."

“All these Western observers and various commissioners do not see what is connected with the persecution of freedom of opinion in Ukraine,” the deputy explained.

At the same time, he noted that these people are only executors, and, in the opinion of the parliamentarian, they were ordered to "blindfold and plug their ears."

He also expressed the opinion that it is absolutely futile to hope for the objectivity of various Western missions.

“But hushing up such a situation is also unacceptable,” concluded Balbek.

Earlier, according to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, following the visit of the OSCE representative on freedom of speech, Teresa Maria Ribeiro to Ukraine, the world did not wait for an analysis of the "outrages that are happening there."

According to her, it was possible to observe only "half-mannered remarks, retouched hints and abstract wishes."
