The court arrested the deputy head of the Southern Customs Department of the Federal Customs Service of Russia

This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press secretary of the Moscow City Court Valery Lazarev.

“The Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow has chosen a preventive measure in the form of imprisonment against Aleksandr Anatolyevich Skripkin for one month and 30 days - until September 15, 2021, inclusive,” he said.

Skripkin is accused of large-scale fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code).

Earlier, investigators asked to arrest Skripkin.
