Finland's Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota), in the lead since Rally Estonia's 1st special, World Rally Championship (WRC) round 7, moved closer to a first class victory at the end of the day of Saturday.

After 18 specials since Thursday evening and with another 6 SS to go on Sunday morning, his closest pursuer, the Irishman Craig Breen (Hyundai), is at 50 sec 7/10, against 8 sec 5/10 on Friday evening.

Follow the Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) at 1 min 20 sec 9/10, the Frenchman Sébastien Ogier (Toyota), leader of the championship, at 1 min 38 sec 8/10 and the Briton Elfyn Evans (Toyota) at 2 min 02 sec 2/10.
