The Constitutional Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People have individually signed policy agreements with the Union and confirmed cooperation for the House of Representatives election, but there is a difference in the stance over the Communist Party between the two parties, and cooperation is in line with the agreement. It is unclear if it can be deepened.

For the House of Representatives election, the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People signed a policy agreement with the Union on the 15th of this month, including protecting the lives and livelihoods of the people from the new coronavirus and working to correct unstable employment.

Both agreements have the same text, stating that the two parties will "cooperate and cooperate" in the elections.

However, regarding the agreement, the coalition initially aimed to conclude a joint agreement with the three parties, but the Constitutional Democratic Party cooperated with the Communist Party in the previous Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election, and the Democratic Party for the People did not realize it.

There is a difference in the stance of the Communist Party between the two parties, such as the voice within the Democratic Party for the People saying, "If the Constitutional Democratic Party strengthens its ties with the Communist Party, the agreement cannot be fully protected." It is unclear whether we can deepen our cooperation.
