In Europe, floods caused by heavy rains have occurred one after another, mainly in Germany, and according to local police, the total number of people who have died has exceeded 160, and some people still do not know their safety.

On the other hand, restoration work has begun in areas where water has drained, and the damage situation is becoming clear.

In the province of Rhineland-Palatinate in western Germany, where the damage was particularly severe, floods occurred from the 14th to the 15th due to the effects of heavy rains that began to rain from around the 13th.

According to local police and state governments, 141 people have died and 670 have been injured so far, and some people are still uncertain about their safety.

Flood damage is also widespread in neighboring Belgium and the Netherlands, where authorities have announced that at least 24 people have died.

On the other hand, restoration work has begun in areas where water has drained.

In the town of Earl Bailer in western Germany, heavy rains flooded the nearby river, and from the night of the 14th to the early morning of the 15th, a large amount of water flowed into the town's shopping district, flooding many buildings.

In some cases, the water reached a height of about 2 meters of the building.

The area was drained on the 17th, and locals were busy scraping mud from the streets and disposing of unsold merchandise in the water.

A woman who said that a handicraft store that had been running for 42 years was submerged in water said, "I've been running the store for 42 years, but it's no longer possible to reopen it."

A man living nearby said, "No one could have predicted this. In less than three hours, everything was submerged."
