July 17, 2021 The picture of bad weather in our country has been reversed. The cyclonic vortex after having raged in the North, is now moving to the South, bringing with it damage and real storms. In Puglia, the Civil Protection has extended the orange alert for hydrogeological and hydrological risk until 20 tomorrow, Sunday 18. On the Gargano a strong storm caused flooding almost everywhere. The greatest damage between Lido del Sole and Peschici, and to free the roadways from the branches felled by the strong wind and rain. There are currently no accidents or injuries. The forecasts are not good and from this evening thunderstorms with hail and strong winds are expected. A drop in temperatures is also expected.

As for Puglia, the Civil Protection of the region has extended the yellow alert for rains and thunderstorms until 11.59 pm tomorrow, Sunday 18. The disturbance will be felt again tomorrow, with rapid but intense storms and strong gusts of wind.

The greatest criticality is the hydrogeological one, the fall of trees and branches and flooding.

The insidious vortex will be felt in Emilia Romagna, where some events on the coast have been postponed, then it will pass on Marche, Abruzzo and Molise, and then worsen in the Center, on Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.

Tomorrow, Sunday 18, the vortex will make Italy feel even more divided in two.

In the North, umbrellas open for sun and heat, in the Center-South open for thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms are expected in Calabria and Sicily, already on yellow alert.
