The German news agency said that Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Monday for an official one-day visit, during which he will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The agency quoted a Gulf source in Riyadh as saying that a ministerial delegation will accompany the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to discuss many issues, foremost of which is discussing a decision on oil production policy within the "OPEC Plus" (OPEC +) alliance.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will also discuss with his Saudi counterpart the repercussions of the recent Saudi import decisions on the economy of the United Arab Emirates.

Among the decisions included: Excluding goods that include a component of Israeli production or manufactured by companies wholly or partly owned by Israeli investors, or companies included in the Arab boycott agreement on Israel.

During a meeting of the “OPEC Plus” alliance at the beginning of July, an agreement on a gradual increase in production from next August stumbled, when the UAE objected to a Saudi proposal to extend the agreement until the end of next year 2022, as Abu Dhabi requested to raise the base number for its production , on the basis of which each country's share of the expected increase in production will be calculated.
