Al-Houthi militia operations failed on the Hodeidah fronts

Yemeni forces are advancing south of Marib towards the administrative border of Al-Bayda

The Yemeni army forces and tribes backed by the Arab coalition continued their advance on the fronts south of Marib, with the continuation of the purification and security operations for the liberated sites in the districts of Jabal Murad, Rahba and Mahlia, and the battles continued on the fronts in the west of the governorate, with great support from the fighters of the Arab coalition, while the joint forces thwarted Houthi operations in Hodeidah fronts.

In the details, field sources in southern Marib confirmed the continuation of confrontations and battles between the Yemeni army forces and the tribes on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, on the Rahba and Jabal Murad fronts, and on the outskirts of the Mahlia district.

The sources said that the forces advanced south from the Rahba district towards Jabal Hawth, Al-Kola, and the outskirts of Wadi Al-Mashreif on the outskirts of Al-Bayda Governorate from the direction of Walad Al-Rabee’ and Al-Qurayshiah districts in the Radaa district near Dhamar governorate and the countryside of the Yemeni capital Sana’a.

The forces advanced from Jabal al-Hadba and the Buqtah area, where the forces were installed in those areas to secure advances from the Alfa and Al-Mushayrif fronts.

For its part, the Arab coalition fighters launched a series of support raids, targeting Houthi sites and reinforcements in the vicinity of Rahba District, and preventing the arrival of reinforcements towards the seam areas.

The coalition fighters also carried out an air operation against Houthi sites and targets on the fronts west and northwest of Ma’rib, during which they demolished sites and fortifications and destroyed Houthi combat vehicles in Madghal, Raghwan, the outskirts of Sirwah and on the outskirts of the capital’s countryside towards Al-Jada’an and Hazem Mas, and in Al-Jufra on the borders of the administrative borders between Al-Jawf and Ma’rib.

On the fronts west of Marib, confrontations continued between the two sides, on the al-Kasara and al-Mushajah fronts in the Serwah district, during which the army and tribesmen managed to regain control of a number of sites in al-Hakimah and overseeing the supply routes on the fronts west of Marib heading towards the center of Serwah district.

The fronts northwest of the province also witnessed violent confrontations and mutual shelling between the two sides, in addition to the coalition raids, all of which were concentrated on the fronts west of Raghwan district, and in Mehzam Mas, Wadi al-Jafra, Halhlan, and al-Ayrf area, in the Madghal district.

The sources stated that about 17 militiamen were captured in the recent operations of the army in the vicinity of Marib, while the militias incurred about 122 deaths, and wounded others, while about 14 combat vehicles were destroyed.

On the al-Jawf fronts, the fronts east of the city of al-Hazm, the provincial capital, witnessed intermittent confrontations between the two sides, with the process of removing mines and explosive devices from the vicinity of al-Khanjar camp in Khub and al-Sha’af.

In Hodeidah, the joint forces were able to put out fire sources of the Houthi militia, which were targeting residential areas east of the city of Hodeidah, according to sources in the joint, stressing that the militias randomly targeted with various types of medium weapons residential areas in the Clio 16 sector, east of the city of Hodeidah.

The militias randomly opened fire on civilian areas and notables in the city of Hays, using machine guns, creating a state of fear and panic among the city's residents.

On the other hand, the National Resistance Forces in the West Coast conducted a tactical exercise with live ammunition for the 38th session, as a culmination of the combat skills that the participants received during the training and rehabilitation period according to the training plan to prepare qualitative units.

The training included detour operations, opening loopholes, storming open areas, controlling and securing residential buildings, carrying out double ambushes, the participation of artillery, a storming and anti-sniper unit, an engineering unit and medical evacuation.
