A 34-year-old man is sentenced to seven years in prison for two cases of preparation for murder and aiding and abetting a felony.

Earlier this week, the same man was convicted by Södertörn District Court for involvement in a crime in the big case against Vårbynätverket, where 28 people were convicted.

- This is a crime that the police and prosecutors have tracked down largely thanks to so-called Encro evidence, says councilor Örjan Härneskog.

A 22-year-old man is sentenced to six and a half years in prison for two cases of preparation for murder, aggravated weapon crime and aiding and abetting a felony.

A 21-year-old man is also sentenced to five years in prison for two cases of preparation for murder and aiding and abetting a felony.

Stockholm criminals planned crimes in other areas

Two men from Borås are also sentenced to prison, a 30-year-old to two and a half years in prison for inciting a felony and a 26-year-old to six years in prison for a felony and a felony drug offense.

- The ruling also shows that people with a criminal lifestyle from the Stockholm area made their resources available to commit or make it easier for others to commit serious violent crimes in the country, in this case in Borås, Solna and in Uppsala, says councilor Stefan Lättman.
