No, this is not the equivalent of a ban on work, ”said Peskov, answering a question about whether these journalists receive a ban on professional activities in Russia.

On July 15, it became known that the Russian Ministry of Justice included eight people in the register of foreign media agents, including Yulia Yarosh and Roman Badanin.

The register also includes Maxim Glikin, Pyotr Manyakhin, Maria Zheleznova, Yulia Lukyanova and Elizaveta Maetnaya.

Earlier, the Russian General Prosecutor's Office recognized the activities in the country of the non-governmental organization from the USA "Project Media" as undesirable.
