It was during a simple patrol that they initially spotted this strange plantation.
Police officers from the specialized field brigade, helped by municipal police officers from Saint-Herblain near Nantes, intervened for an unusual operation Thursday afternoon in the Bellevue district.
On a wasteland, not far from the village of La Bernardière, they discovered no less than 141 plants of cannabis growing among the weeds.
"These plants in very large quantities were destroyed before a possible harvest", indicates a police source, which speaks of the equivalent of about fifty kilos.
No arrests took place, the location of the crop making it difficult to identify an owner.
