Above all, the interest in distance learning has increased in several age groups, especially for those who are 35 years and older.

According to figures from the University and College Council, UHR, 47,329 in the age group have been admitted to distance education.

This is an increase of 13.6 percent compared with the autumn of 2020.

Increased number of training places

This autumn's distance education has received over 204,000 qualified applicants, which is an increase of almost one percent compared with the first sample in the autumn of 2020. And the supply of distance education has also increased by 14 percent compared to last year.

At the University of the West, most of those admitted to the autumn have applied for independent courses, and many of those who have applied have previously studied at a university and are now returning.
