In the clip, you hear Janne Nilsson tell more about the event.

The alarm about the accident came in shortly after 7 pm after a ten-year-old boy rode the Rodeo ride and fell out of the carriage during the journey.

The boy was taken to the hospital in Skövde and underwent surgery on Friday.

The police are now investigating the incident and the case is classified as causing bodily injury.

The attraction has been shut down.

Two years ago, an eight-year-old boy was injured in the same carousel.

Witness critical of staff actions

Borhan visited Skara summerland with his family.

Just before the park closed, he witnessed the serious accident.

He first lifted out other children who remained in the carousel and then lay down next to the boy, who was lying on the ground.

- I told him to lie still and tried to calm him down, he says.

Borhan is critical of how the staff on site acted.

He says that the staff stayed away and did not dare to come forward.

- The staff ran away, he says.

He also questions why Skara summerland employs so many young people.

- Almost all were around 20 years old.

"Will find out what was done"

Skara sommarland has started an investigation to get to the bottom of what went wrong.

Both the ride and the staff's actions will be investigated.

- We will find out what was done right and what was done wrong, says Annika Troselius, information manager at Skara summerland.
