6 out of 10 pensioners in Västmanland will receive more money this autumn

In order for more people to receive a higher pension, the Riksdag has decided on an income pension supplement.

Of Västmanland's approximately 61,000 pensioners, approximately 36,000 will receive money.

Of these, 32 percent receive the maximum amount of SEK 600 before tax, according to forecasts.

- It is good to know that not all Västmanland's pensioners are entitled to the supplement.

Of those who are entitled, most will not receive the maximum amount of SEK 600 before tax, says Ann-Sofie Kraft Nilsson, expert at the Swedish Pensions Agency in a statement.

In August, a message will be sent out to those affected. You do not have to do anything yourself to get the money.
