The Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced the launch of the national sterilization program in the emirate, starting from Monday, July 19, 2021, as part of the ongoing efforts to protect public health and limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The sterilization program will start daily from 12 midnight to 5 am.
During this period, traffic and public movement will be restricted, and public transportation will be suspended.
The public is required to stay at home and only go out to purchase essential food and medicine needs.
