15 July 2021 Green light of the Council of Ministers to the appointments of Carlo Fuortes and Marinella Soldi for the top management of Rai. This is what is learned from executive sources. The indication came formally from the Minister of Economy Daniele Franco, in agreement with Prime Minister Mario Draghi. 

Fuortes will assume the role of CEO, Soldi has been designated for the role of president. 

Yesterday the Senate elected Igor De Biasio (102 votes) and Alessandro Di Majo (78 votes) as members of the Rai Board. The Chamber of Deputies had instead chosen Francesca Bria and Simona Agnes. Bria got 162 votes, Agnes 161.
