"Relations between the Russian Federation and the PRC have reached unprecedented heights, have become an example of interstate cooperation in the 21st century," Lavrov reports to TASS, which he published in an article on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Russian-Chinese Treaty on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation.
According to him, the key provisions of this international legal act formed the basis of hundreds of bilateral documents, influenced the development of the regulatory framework of relations between Russia and China with third countries.
“The basic Russian-Chinese agreement allows us to further develop our strategic partnership in harmony with the changing realities of the new era,” the minister said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the economic relations between Russia and China.
