He noted that it is necessary to accelerate the reduction of emissions and the transition to alternative, renewable, sustainable energy.

Kerry also said that Washington will carefully study the ideas of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the climate agenda, according to him, these ideas are very positive.

Kerry added that the United States and Russia could conduct joint research and exchange technologies, including hydrogen, to reduce carbon emissions.

He also said that he intends to meet again with the special envoy of the President of Russia Ruslan Edelgeriev before the conference in Glasgow, scheduled for autumn.
