Emergencies and crises in Abu Dhabi Operational ratios occur with a number of activities

The Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced the update of the operational ratios and capacity in a number of activities in the emirate, starting from Monday, July 19.

The capacity was limited to 50% in public beaches, public parks, private beaches, swimming pools, gyms, sports clubs in hotels, spas in hotels, public buses and ferries.

Capacity was set at 40% in commercial centers and 30% in cinemas.

With the approval of a maximum of 3 passengers in a 5-passenger taxi and a maximum of 4 passengers in a 7-passenger taxi.

This step comes in accordance with Abu Dhabi's strategy to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and to enhance the proactive precautionary measures implemented by the emirate to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

The committee stressed the need for community members to adhere to preventive measures, maintain physical distancing, and wear masks in public places to preserve public health gains.
