It was shortly after 7 pm that the police and rescue service were alerted to Skara summerland where a boy was injured in connection with a fall from a ride.
Initially, the ten-year-old boy's injuries were described as fractures.
- He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, says police spokesperson Anna Göransson.
The police remain on the scene to investigate the incident.
The area of the accident is cordoned off.
The criminal classification is currently causing bodily injury.
- We are on our way to the hospital to hear relatives and the boy, says Anna Göransson.
No one else was injured in the incident.
