The rising pop star, singer Olivia Rodrigo, who is only 18 years old, expressed her admiration for the efforts of President Joe Biden's administration to encourage vaccination against the Corona virus.

The White House is counting on the teenage singer, who has 28 million followers on social networks, to increase the vaccination rate among young Americans.

"I admire the work that President (Joe) Biden and Anthony Fauci, the White House's chief medical advisor, are doing," Rodrigo said, in a brief appearance during the press conference of White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

"It is important to have conversations with our friends and family members, during which we encourage everyone to get the vaccine," she added.

And she highlighted that receiving the vaccine against "Covid-19" has become "easier than ever, given the number of (vaccination) sites available and the ease of finding them."

The young artist, who is widely popular with teenagers, and who became famous especially thanks to her recent songs, "Divers' License" and "Good For You", will contribute to supporting the vaccination campaign against "Corona" by recording videos encouraging receiving the vaccine.

Olivia Rodrigo had participated as an actress in a number of "Disney" series, before launching her musical career.

Despite the extensive vaccination campaign carried out by the United States, young Americans are among the groups least likely to receive the vaccine.
