  • Newspaper library The Prosecutor's Office expands the accusation against Villarejo in the 'Pinto case' and asks López Madrid to be tried also for the stabbing of the doctor

The

Pinto case is

already making steady progress.

The head of

court 39 of Madrid

has decided to impute the businessman Javier López Madrid in the case of the attack on the dermatologist, as requested by the Public Prosecutor in a letter advanced by EL MUNDO.

The magistrate has ruled against the appeals presented by both López Madrid and Commissioner Villarejo against the opening of the abbreviated procedure, a step prior to putting them on the bench. But the investigator, who has been with the case for more than six years, has also responded to the request of the Prosecutor's Office and has expanded the accusations against the businessman.

The judge considers that, in addition to going to trial for alleged crimes of harassment and threats to the doctor, López Madrid must also answer for the crime of injuries.

The doctor reported having been the victim of an assault with a sharp object in the presence of her son, then a minor.

During the investigation, different police reports tried to make the doctor's complaint less solid.

They even pointed out that it was false and that the day the stabbing occurred, in the area where it occurred, Elisa Pinto's car was not seen, despite the fact that it was recorded in the videos incorporated into the case, where it was clearly seen the doctor's car in the area where the stabbing occurred.

Now the judge, endorsing the arguments of the Prosecutor's Office, understands that Villarejo and López Madrid acted in common agreement when attacking the doctor.

The magistrate not only confirms the indications that she pointed out in her last car but also extends the imputation of López Madrid to the crime of injuries due to the attack with a stabbing weapon that Pinto suffered.

He endorses the arguments of the Prosecutor's Office that maintains that López Madrid and Villarejo acted together to harass and discredit the dermatologist and for this the commissioner used all his tentacles within the Police.

The Prosecutor's Office was clear in its complaint: "Follow-ups were carried out, unauthorized access to information on Pinto was carried out, and the police investigation into the events reported by police officers at the service of such spurious private interests had been manipulated, under the superior direction of Villarejo ".

In her letter, the prosecutor provided references to the material seized from Villarejo in the records of the 'Tandem operation'. It includes conversations recorded by Villarejo himself and references to police maneuvers to avoid the reconnaissance wheel to which the commissioner had to submit, in which he was identified by Pinto as the aggressor. It includes data that have appeared in the agendas seized by the National Court in command of the Police: "Try to delay the wheel in any case. You have to prepare the statement once you identify me. Because it will be like that."

For the Prosecutor's Office, these elements "corroborate that the criminal activity carried out by José Manuel Villlarejo, guided by the immediate and unscrupulous satisfaction of a personal desire for profit, cannot be considered as occasional or purely individual."

He stressed that the commissioner "acted in agreement" with López Madrid against the dermatologist, "they would have agreed."
