In June, it was decided that young people under the age of 18 would also be offered vaccines in Sweden.

At present, it concerns those born in 2005 and earlier.

The Swedish Public Health Agency has now stated that vaccination can be started starting on Monday 9 August, as it is judged that the regions should then have come far enough to vaccinate the population over 18 years of age.

In Sörmland, it can not be said for sure that this is exactly the week you start with the 16-17 vaccination.

It depends on how you are doing with other vaccinations and the availability of vaccines.

In order to be vaccinated if you are under 18 years of age, consent from a guardian is required.

In the clip, the health care manager Magnus Johansson tells more about it.
