In Germany, the delta strain accounts for 74% of new cases of COVID-19

As reported by TASS with reference to the institute, this strain became dominant in Germany last week.

It is clarified that a month ago the strain "delta" accounted for about 10% of new cases.

Earlier, the director general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that the delta strain was the main reason for the increase in new cases of COVID-19.
