European stock exchanges are making a slight recovery in this second part of the day.

Milan, after yesterday's bad day, is the best with + 0.61%;

Frankfurt and Paris also rose slightly while London continued negative.

Among the titles, in Piazza Affari StMicroelectronics shines, the best of the list - with an increase of over 2 percentage points - after the rumors circulated in the morning that Apple is preparing a maxi order of microchips and components in view of the launch of the IPhone13.

On the other hand, the travel and leisure sector is bad, in the wake of the rise in infections and new restrictions in France.

Sector index down 1.10%.


Meanwhile, the American indices start positive: the Dow Jones rises by 0.38%, the Nasdaq by over half a point. Waiting for Fed Chairman Powell and Treasury Secretary Yellen to speak in Washington tonight on the state of the US economy. The price of oil remained stable after yesterday's rebound, with Brent at 76.49 dollars a barrel, while according to some international agencies an agreement was reached within OPEC on increasing production.
