The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan" quoted General Surgery consultant Mawrid Makram, as saying that the young man came to him carrying an x-ray on the abdomen, showing a huge rectangular body, and told him: "I swallowed a phone about 3 months ago."
The young man told the doctor that he entered into a challenge with his friends and swallowed the phone and stayed in his stomach for 3 months, and the doctor was in a state of shock because the young man appeared naturally without complications, and the doctor confirmed that the young man miraculously escaped death because he could have suffocated and died Immediately upon swallowing the phone.
The doctor explained that he and his team were able to successfully extract the phone from the young man's stomach, adding: "The phone was wrapped inside a bag, and this helped that the battery did not reach the intestines, which could have exploded and caused the death of the young man immediately."
