Four new countries will be placed on the red list for the coronavirus, Matignon said Monday at
20 Minutes
, confirming information from France Info.
These are Tunisia, Mozambique, Cuba and Indonesia.
To go to a country classified as red, France asks all its nationals to be able to justify an overriding reason, a negative PCR test and to respect the quarantine measure imposed, according to the rules of the country of destination.
Vaccinated people must have proof of full vaccination.
As for the non-vaccinated who will come to France, they will have to be subjected to a compulsory 10-day isolation.
In France, 24 countries are already on the red list, due to "active circulation of the virus" and "the presence of worrying variants", in particular Brazil, India and Argentina.
For the moment, no European country - except Russia - is placed on the red list.
