The stage is decorated and finished.

The seats for the 300-person audience on display.

Cameras rigged and rails laid out for nice camera rides.

On stage, the sound is controlled, there is a bit of tingling and nerves in the air.

- We need to prepare the music very much and we do it like this, the day before, says Johan Sköld who is the producer for the concert in Borgholm's castle ruins.

End of company

In the past, Victoria Day has meant an opportunity for the public to celebrate Crown Princess Victoria, partly at Solliden's castle, partly in the evening, by participating in the big concert at Borgholm's sports ground.

But this year the celebration will be on a smaller scale.

The concert takes place at Borgholm's castle ruins and the audience will only consist of about 300 people, unlike a packed sports field.

- I know that the Crown Princess and her family think it's sad that they can not be with and greet the people, but these are the times now.

We can only hope that people can look forward to this concert, which is broadcast on TV, instead, he says.

Is this the place for the future celebration of Victoria Day?

- I think we have become very fond of the ruin, but we do not yet know what it will look like in the future.

We'll see where we end up.

What is the greatness of the ruin?

- It has a thousand-year history and is a magical place. It must be Sweden's most beautiful scenography.
