13 July 2021 The fight against violence against women, female unemployment and the gender pay gap, but also the protection of girls, more accessible vaccines all over the world and sustainability. These are just some of the issues that will be addressed in the final summit of the Women 20 engagement group starting from 13 to 15 July in Rome at the Temple of Hadrian.



The Summit, hosted for the first time by Italy, will be an opportunity to bring issues related to gender equality in the various sectors of social and economic life, starting from work, to the fight against violence against women, gender medicine, women's contribution in the resolution of international conflicts, the role of women in science.



The Summit program, divided into three dates, includes several work sessions spread over the entire day. Due to restrictions due to the pandemic, seats inside the hall will be limited and reserved for guests, organizers and technicians. On the occasion of the final summit of Women 20, an engagement group of women from the G20 countries, in addition to participating in the event with a specially created minidoc, Rai Teche offers a small archive jewel on RaiPlay: "Donne incammino", a 1960 program signed by Ugo Gregoretti, together with Luciana Giambuzzi, the historic female face of our television journalism. Broadcast on April 25, 1960, the documentary in just under 25 minutes recounts half a century and more of women's battles and conquests in terms of emancipation.
