According to Ukrainian media, the Verkhovna Rada will consider the resignation on July 15.

According to a RT source in the Servant of the People party, Avakov will most likely be fired, and a replacement has already been found.

“This is a deputy from the Servant of the People party, Denis Monastyrsky, who was introduced to the party.

This is the only candidate who is very loyal to Avakov, and this guarantees the security of the current minister, ”the source said.

The fact that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to appoint to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs the head of the Rada's law enforcement committee, deputy of the Servant of the People, Denis Monastyrsky, was announced by party deputy Oleksandr Kachura following the meeting of the faction.

“The President proposed Denis Monastyrskiy for the post of Minister of Internal Affairs.

The faction supported the proposal with applause.

Voting for the appointment will take place this Friday, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

Monastyrsky himself said that "he made the most difficult decision in his life, agreeing to the president's proposal to head the ministry."

“I understand what sacrifice I am making as a person, person, politician, but I made this choice and will apply for the position,” he said.

In turn, a RT source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that Arsen Avakov, having written a statement, played ahead of the curve.

“He became a very influential official, and the Americans were interested in his departure, who gave him security guarantees.

During his work, Avakov has accumulated so much information on various officials that no one dares to touch him.

I think he will return to politics.

Waiting for the right moment, ”he said.

The uncontrolled interior minister is a big problem for the country's President Vladimir Zelensky, a RT source in the President's Office notes: “The police can stop protecting the streets if Avakov wants to put pressure on Zelensky.

Therefore, the president, having enlisted the support of the Americans, allowed Avakov to leave and save face. "

“I wonder how Ukraine will pay the Americans for the departure of the influential minister.

I think we will find out in the coming days.

In terms of influence, Avakov has long been ranked second in the country after the president.

And this is a lot for an ordinary minister, even if the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

And this speaks of the inexperience of Zelensky, who cannot restore order among the country's key officials.

What can we say about all of Ukraine, "- drew attention to the RT source in the Batkivshchyna party.
