The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council approved the establishment of two new cross-strait exchange bases in the Jinyun Xiandu Scenic Area in Lishui, Zhejiang and Leizu Mausoleum Park in Yanting, Mianyang, Sichuan.

  Zhu Fenglian said that these two exchange bases rely on Huangdi culture and Lei ancestor culture, respectively, to show the excellent traditional Chinese culture that has been passed down carefully and passed down from generation to generation. They are important places for Taiwan compatriots to remember the ancestors of China and remember the glory of the Chinese Emperor.

We sincerely welcome more Taiwan compatriots to visit these two exchange bases. We hope that relevant places will build and develop the exchange base, strengthen attention and coordination, and play a greater role in expanding and deepening cross-strait exchanges and cooperation.

  Zhu Fenglian said that the development of exchanges and cooperation among compatriots on both sides of the Strait in various fields is an important driving force for the continuous development of cross-strait relations.

Since 2009, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council have successively approved the establishment of 81 cross-strait exchange bases in 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Shandong, Hubei, and Fujian.

The establishment of two new exchange bases this time reflects our determination to unswervingly implement the established guidelines and policies, actively expand cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, strive to deepen cross-strait integration and development, and continue to promote the spiritual harmony of our compatriots.
